Trash and Recycling
When is my regular trash pickup day?
Curbside trash is picked up on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays, depending on which street you live on. The trash collection is weekly. Click here for a list of collection days or contact the Public Works Department at (207) 967-5728 for more information.
They missed my street, how do I get my trash and recycling picked up?
The trash and recycling collection starts at 6:30 a.m.  All trash and recycling should be out at curbside no earlier than 3:00 p.m. the day before your collection and no later than 6:00 a.m. on your collection day.

If your trash and recycling is not out at curbside at the start of the day, you are at risk of not being picked up. Drivers will not make a return trip to pick up your trash and recycling. Trash and recycling that was not collected must be brought back in for the next week's collection.

If your trash and recycling was out at the start of the day, and was missed, please contact Casella at (207) 646-3230.
